Transfer to the ICEHOTEL© by Husky Sledge
What better way to begin your holiday to the
ICEHOTEL©. You are dressed warmly
at Kiruna airport and your luggage is taken care of by staff that drive it
directly to the ICEHOTEL©. You then sit yourself on the dogsled, at most 4 people
per dogsled and 10-14 dogs pulling the sled. When the snow anchor is released
the excited dogs cease howling and set off. Then you only hear their paws and
breathing and the sound of the sled against the snow. Available daily upon
flight arrival. The beginning of the season is dependant on the amount of snow.
Approximately 2 hours duration from flight arrival, £137.50 per person based on 4 sharing

Introductory Snowmobile Tour
Daily 15.30 – 17.00
A 1.5 hour snowmobile safari that can usually be done on day of arrival.
Price: £70pp (sharing snowmobile). Supplement for own snowmobile £60pp
Wilderness Snowmobile Tour - 3
hours
Guided extra long snowmobile tour in the wilderness area around Jukkasjarvi
primeval forests, with traditional wilderness lunch. The lunch consists of
smoked reindeer meat served with bread, salmon soup with herbal aioli,
lingonberry cake and coffee/tea as well as lingonberry juice for the meal.

2 hour Snowmobile Safari for enthusiasts
Daily 08.00 – 10.00
A fun safari for snowmobile enthusiasts! You drive in small groups, and get
something of the feel of free-riding. This could be an ideal way to round off an
Ice Hotel holiday.
Price: £115 p.p. including own snowmobile.
Northern Lights Tour by Snowmobile
Guided snowmobile tour in search of the Northern Lights. Evening Dinner included
with: sandwich with smoked salmon, traditional moose soup, coffee/tea and apple
cake with warm vanilla sauce, and lingonberry juice for the meal. Slide show
about the "aurora borealis" as well as interesting information on the Northern
Lights.

Overnight Snowmobile Tour to
Wilderness Camp
Snowmobile tour to one of our wilderness camps for a night in the wild. You will
drive in the wilderness area covered by deep snow and dense forests. Together
with skilled and experienced guides, this is truly a trip you will never forget!
Sleeping bags and sauna/towels included in the overnight stay. Your dinner in
the wilderness camp consists of a main course with a dessert. The menu varies
from season to season, but is always consisting of local food from sources from
the region. The guides serve a hearty wilderness breakfast the next morning. And
en route of the safari there will also be a stop for a wilderness snack around
the open fire right in the middle of "nowhere".
Price -
£330pp (twin share) or £435pp (single) - we recommend that you have your own
Snowmobile for this excursion due to the long duration.
Starlit Dinner in Wilderness Camp
Daily 10 December – 31 March 19.00 – 22.30
Transfer to Esrange Space station for a guided tour and information on the
Northern Lights and the night sky, before moving on to a wilderness camp beside
Lake Salmijarvi. Wine will be served while observing the sky and the stars
before a 3-course meal is served.
Price: £205 p.p.
3-hour Ranger Razor ATV Safari
This new safari, in side-by-side buggies, takes you deep into the forest, across
lakes, and along rivers to a wilderness camp, where lunch will be served. You
can try your skill on the track, either timing yourself or competing with
fellow-drivers.
Price: £205 p.p. (sharing Ranger) Supplement for own vehicle £75 p.p.
SAAB Ice Driving
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 08.00 – 12.00 and Wednesdays 18.00 – 22.00 in
period 07/01 – 31/03 if weather conditions are right, but may open later or
close earlier if necessary. Improve your ice driving skills under supervision of
instructors, starting with a manoeuvring test for the ABS and the car’s
stability system. Later you will try driving on the ice track and test your own
skills on slippery roads. You are seated two drivers and two passengers per car.
Minimum age 18 yrs. Valid driving licence required, and alcohol test may also be
required.
Price: £280 p.p. driving. Passengers £90 p.p.
Downhill Skiing at Bjorkliden Ski Resort
Daily 08.30 – 16.30
A guided transfer to Bjorkliden for a day’s skiing with all passes and equipment
included. Please advise what kind of equipment required plus height, weight and
shoe size.

Wilderness
Safari in search of Moose - 4 hours (option to book as a transfer back to
airport)
By mini-bus to moose winter pasture with
hopefully good photographic possibilities. Direct transfer to the airport is
possible at the end of the tour - so why not book this on your last day!

Snowmobile Safari in
Moose Winter Grazing Land - TBC
Departure by snowmobile to the heart of the
winter grazing land of the moose. An exclusive tour with only 8 spaces per
day. Price - £225 twin share, £315

Duration 6 hrs, departing 08.30Husky Sled
Tour - 1.5 hours
There are more dogs than people in Jukkasjärvi and it’s surroundings! You sit
yourself comfortably on the dogsled; a quick pull and then you are off. A short
stop for coffee boiled over an open fire and then cake. Driving length 13
kilometres.

Husky Sled Tour - 4 hour -
ideal for those visiting for 3 nights
This longer

Raidu –
Reindeer Sled in the Sami Camp
Traditional tour to a Sami camp in the outskirts of the village of Jukkasjärvi,
where you will have a glimpse into the rich Sami culture and also will learn how
to drive with a reindeer and sledge. You will eat a traditional Sami meal in the
"Lavvo" tent by an open fire, before it is time to set off back towards
Jukkasjärvi.

Morning Cross-country Ski or Snowshoe Tour
Daily 11.00 – 13.00
After you have chosen your preferred mode of travel you will be transferred into
the woods to a little wind-shelter where coffee/cake will be served. You will
then get instruction from the guide and travel back along marked trails at your
own pace.
Price: £100 p.p.
Afternoon Cross-country Ski or Snowshoe Tour
Daily 16.45 – 18.45
Choose snowshoes or skis and the guide will instruct you how to use them and
take you to the wind-shelter in the woods for coffee/cake by an open fire. You
then travel back at your own pace. The guide is with you throughout the tour.

Snow-mobile from Kiruna airport to Jukkasjärvi
The guide will meet you upon
arrival at Kiruna Airport; separate luggage transportation to ICEHOTEL© is
included, as is warm outer clothing for the snowmobile tour. You will need to
advise clothing and boot sizes upon booking this tour. You will have a small
snack before you set off, or possibly en route.

Wilderness Tour in Search of the Moose
