Sweden ICE HOTEL
& Kiruna accommodation options...
Sweden ICE HOTEL© main menu

When visiting the ICEHOTEL© in Sweden you have the choice of the following accommodations.  Kirsty has made a few comments on each of the different options.  More pictures can be seen on our gallery page

Cold accommodations...

Snow Rooms...(previously Ice Rooms)
In this simple snow room you’ll get a good night’s sleep in -5 degrees. You sleep in thermal sleeping bags on a special bed built of snow and ice, on reindeer skins. You are awakened in the morning with a cup of hot lingonberry juice at your bedside. Breakfast buffet, morning sauna and towels included.  Snow rooms are available for 2  to 8 people.

The basic snow rooms give you the opportunity to experience sleeping on ice.  They sleep two in a polar sleeping bag on an ice bed. Washroom and sauna facilities are in the main building. They have a curtain as a door.  If you require a spacious room we recommend that you pre-book an ice room or suite. Kirsty's Top Tip - stay in an Ice Room for a more spacious and 'themed' experience.

Kirsty's comments on the Ice Suites from previous seasons:  "All of the suites were very impressive.  Each has a different theme and are a lot more spacious than the basic rooms."

Art Suites...
Stay amongst ice art in the shape of fantastic design and wonderful
sculptures. Spacious accommodation for a special occasion. You sleep in a thermal sleeping bag on a special bed of snow and ice, on reindeer skins.

Warm accommodations...

Arctic Cabins...
The arctic cabins are spacious with one double and one single bedroom.  There is a good kitchenette with plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, a kettle, mugs, plates and cutlery.  There was even washing up liquid, a tea towel and washing up brush!  The Arctic cabins are traditional in style with exposed pine walls and tiled floors.
Nordic Chalets...
These are situated near to the Arctic cabins and are more modern in style with a microwave in the kitchen area.
Kammos Rooms...
Located furthest away from the reception area (although still not far), these rooms are very modern in style with coffee making facilities.
