Introduction
The world's largest igloo, Sweden's famous Ice Hotel is rebuilt annually throughout December, within a complex that includes cosy cabins and hotel rooms.  These packages all include a night in the Ice Hotel and a night in a cabin or hotel room and offer you the opportunity to add on your required excursions.    Each holiday is tailor made to suit your requirements, however we have provided guide prices below for 2 night stays, 3 night stays as well as a 3 night package that includes a stop-over in Stockholm.  We can also offer a package where you fly to Olso and stay for a night in Narvik in Northern Norway, and then travel into Sweden and to the Ice Hotel on the scenic Ofoten Railway - click here for details of this tour (coming soon).

Accommodation...

Ice Rooms & Suites -
ice rooms that sleep two in polar sleeping bags on an ice bed. Washroom and sauna facilities are in the main building - click here for more details

Nordic Cabins - newly renovated 'light and bright' pine cabins with modern furnishings.  They have two bedrooms (double and bunk bed), a small living area, private bathroom (shower and WC), TV and telephone.

Aurora cabins - traditional wood cabins with two bedrooms (twin & single), a small living area, private bathroom with shower and WC, TV and telephone and of all things, a fridge!  They also have the addition of skylights for viewing the northern lights.

Kaamos rooms ‘kaamos’ means ‘winter light’ and these double bedded hotel style rooms are warm, spacious and furnished in a modern Scandinavian style with a private bathroom (shower and WC) and large corner window.

Example Outline Itinerary...

Day 1 - Depart 0700 (later flights can also be booked if available), from London Heathrow (Manchester flights also available), via Stockholm and arrive into Kiruna at 1300.  Transfer to the Ice Hotel where you will be given your thermal clothing and boots to keep throughout your stay, and a guides tour.  Later you will no doubt wish to enjoy a drink in the Absolut Ice Bar before you retire for the night in your Ice Room (we recommend an upgrade to an Ice Suite at the Ice Hotel, supplement from £55 per person, please ask when you call us to book).

Day 2 - You will be woken with hot berry juice, and have the option of a sauna before breakfast at the inn.  Today you can chose to take part in a range of optional activities as at the Ice Hotel.  We advise that you pre-book these to guarantee your places - click here for a full list.  Overnight in warm accommodation.

Day 3 -

2 night package - return home
3 night package - Today you have a whole day to enjoy a range of activities at the Ice Hotel such as a Moose Safari, Ice Sculpting, Snowshoeing, Husky and/or Reindeer Safari - click here for a full list.

Day 4 (3 night package only) - Breakfast at the Inn, and time for some last activity if you wish, before your transfer to Kiruna airport for your 1330 departure via Stockholm back to London Heathrow, arriving 1955 (alternative flight times may be available).

Extend your stay - Stay extra nights or stop -over in Stockholm on your outward or return journey - we can make these arrangements for you, please ask when you call us on 0845 003 2216

Please note: you will be provided with a one piece thermal suit, mittens, hat and thermal waterproof boots for use during your stay.

Optional Excursions... (prices quoted are per person unless otherwise stated, length of excursions are approximate and can vary)

Most client opt to include at least the first three excursions.  Depending on the length of your stay however, there are many more which you can take part in, including an overnight excursion at a wilderness lodge - simply chose your excursions and add them to the basic package price below to give yourself an idea of your total holiday cost - a confirmed costing will be given to you once you have called us and we have processed your quotation.  We can advise on which excursions would be most suitable for your requirements so please do call one of our Travel Specialists for more details.

Seasonal pricing:  Prices fluctuate depending on your traveling dates, for example prices will be higher during peak times such as New Year, and lower later in the season (1st - 16th April).  A number of factors can affect this including flights and accommodation.  Each holiday is created especially for each client, these are not set packages.  Therefore prices are subject to vary and the above should be used as a guide.  Please call us for a personalised quotation on 0845 003 2216.

Upgraded rooms at the Ice Hotel: Although a fantastic experience, the Snow Rooms are rather small and some may find them claustrophobic and so we recommend that you pay the small supplement to upgrade to the Ice Room, please ask for this to be included in your quotation as prices can vary depending on your travel dates
